At Tukka we recognise the traditional owners of the land and we are proud to exhibit fine Aboriginal art for the pleasure of our customers. The Aboriginal community is at the very heart of our society and adds a rich cultural mosaic to Australian life through music, dance, storytelling, and art.
When you dine at Tukka you will relax and enjoy your meal to the sounds of gentle dreamtime music. You are also surrounded by fine Aboriginal art, which is available for sale through the restaurant.
We have partnered with Red Desert Gallery, one of the finest Aboriginal galleries in Australia. We chose to work with Paul Curtis (owner of Red Desert Gallery), mainly because of his passion and respect for the art and the artists. The second reason was his dedication to quality fine art. The pieces displayed at the restaurant and in the gallery are some of the best examples of their kind in Australia. Next time you visit Tukka or you are going through Eumundi, you should take the time to appreciate some of the amazing works of art.
At Tukka, we display original pieces ranging from about $1000 to $5000. The pieces displayed are mainly Western Desert Art. These are perfect for collectors or investors, for your home, or as the centrepiece in your office. Please see any of our staff at the restaurant if you wish to make a purchase.
