Tukka’s ever changing Native High Tea is served on the last Sunday of the month.
This is but a sample of our 2012 mothers day platter to give you an idea of what you may find on your platter: Lemon myrtle pumpkin scones with rosella jam and chantilly cream, Profiteroles filled with white chocolate and pepperberry, Quandong fairy cakes, dark chocolate macaroons filled with davidson plum jam and 3 types of finger sandwiches -Anisata salmon gravlax, goats curd and lillputs,- Bush tomato relish and kangaroo and – cucumber and pepperberry.
Via bookings only we will be serving at 2.30pm
For $35 pp, enjoy three tiers of savory and sweet treats with Tukka’s signature native twist with a choice of beverage from a refreshing native sorbet iced tea, hot brewed tea from our selection or for $5 have a glass of sparking wine.

Each entry will receive a Tukka e-voucher worth $20 valid until June 30, 2015.

Our new Garden Talk and Tasting Tours are an improved version of our Garden Classes from previous years.
Listed as the top restaurant in Queensland with ‘Green Credentials’ by Queensland’s Good Food Guide in 2012, see how we minimize our carbon footprint by growing a lot of our own native and popular ingredients in our own kitchen garden. Our garden was created behind the restaurant and has been thriving since 2009. Each of our seasonal menu’s have benefited and been created around our harvests, an element that keeps our flavours fresher and more aromatic.
Green Thumb and Head Chef / Owner of Tukka Restaurant is Bryant Wells. He will take you and talk you and a small group, through the Tukka garden to learn more about some of our little known and popular native gourmet flora and teach you how to grow, harvest, prepare and cook these native ingredients.
After your information session, sit back and relax with a unique 2 course meal and glass of matching wine.
As part of your Tour, you will receive a recipe booklet full of information, recipes, a native spice pack to start your culinary journey at home and some help to start growing your own native garden.

The 2 hour class will run from 3:00pm, costing $75pp (including your 2 course meal and beverage)
