Saying Goodbye to Tukka Restaurant
Sadly, this winter we are announcing that we will be bringing Tukka Restaurant to a close with our
last service on Sunday the 26th of June.
With our lease up for renewal, Hannah and I have decided it is time to focus on a different path for Tukka and more on family. Rest assured Tukka will not disappear, We will be continuing to expand and fill the Native food gap with our catering and a few more exciting developments in the future, but it will be the final month for our beloved West End & Brisbane institution. It has been a very hard decision to make, but after 8 years within Tukka’s walls and 6 years as owners it is time to bring about some change and a fresh perspective.
We would like to take the time to thank all of our dedicated staff we have had over the years, especially our Restaurant Manager who was with us at the start and will be there at the end, and our very loyal followers of Native inspired cuisine; it has been the utmost of pleasures to have you as part of our family and to welcome your guests.
In the not too distant future we will be revamping our website to focus on corporate and private in house catering so that we can continue the need for native Australian cuisine. You can also catch me at this year’s Regional foods in Southbank or on ABC radio as a guest chef every few months.
We hope that you do visit for 1 last experience with us and say goodbye to us and a restaurant that has serviced the Brisbane area for over 12 years in a very special fashion.
